I am a medical doctor with an MBBS and MD in Pharmacology, with a strong interest in teaching medical sciences through clinical understanding rather than memorization. I teach Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology, Therapeutics, and related medical sciences to medical, pharmacy, nursing, and allied-health students. I can also support students preparing for medical examinations, including USMLE-oriented Pharmacology and foundational medical sciences. My teaching approach begins with why something happens before asking you to remember, what happens. For example, rather than simply memorizing a list of adverse effects or drug interactions, we work through the mechanism and clinical reasoning behind them. This makes difficult concepts easier to understand, retain, and apply in examinations and clinical scenarios. Sessions can be tailored to your needs, whether you want to: * Build strong fundamentals from the beginning * Understand difficult Pharmacology concepts * Connect basic sciences with clinical medicine * Work through mechanisms of action, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics * Master adverse effects, contraindications and drug interactions * Discuss clinical cases and rational therapeutics * Prepare for examinations, viva voce, or medical-school assessments * Review a specific topic before an upcoming examination I particularly enjoy working with students who feel that Pharmacology is overwhelming or excessively dependent on memorization. My aim is to turn it into a subject that is logical, clinically relevant, and much easier to recall. Classes are interactive and adapted to the student's existing knowledge, curriculum, and learning goals.
