Anna Strautman

I graduated from UAB in May of 2026 with my Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences. I received Distinguished Honors through the UAB Honors College Program. Through the BMD department, I studied a variety of health sciences and have an excellent foundational knowledge in the sciences. Some of my relevant coursework includes Chemistry (Gen Chem I + II, Organic Chem I + II, Biochemistry), Biology (Intro to Bio I + II, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Genetics, Immunology), Anatomy and Physiology (Human Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology I + II), as well as Pathophysiology and other related courses such as Physics I + II and the core subjects. I am currently going through the application process for graduate school and am looking forward to spending my spare time helping students become more comfortable with science!
