Annie Fernandez

Hello Everyone, My name is Annie Fernandez I am 36 years old and I have such a passion for growing and empowering students on there educational journey. I have been working in the school districts since the year 2018. until May of 2026. I just recently moved to a whole different town to be closer with my significant other and my step-daughter. I started working as a Special Education paraprofessional for 5 years in a self-contained classroom with severely disabled students ranging from all ages. I loved being able to work with students on different levels and building strong relationships with each child was heartfelt and I feel that my love for Special Education grew from there. I went back to school shortly after year five and got myself into a charter school to broaden my horizons. I grew to love it and in my second year I became an Associate Resource Teacher working with students in Special Education that needed extra help and bridging the gap with where they were academically and where they needed to be on grade level. Once I graduated I really wanted to work with littles so I took a position as a Pre-K teacher at a smaller school district. I loved my first year as a Pre-K teacher. My first year taught me a lot of things and I grew and learned so much last year. I am seeking this new opportunity to grow in this aspect and to be able to help students through this virtual world and to get to be apart of this growing culture. I want to leave you all with the tools, confidence and care you need to make your educational journey the best yet !
