Hira Baig

I am a passionate and dedicated Biology tutor with several years of teaching experience, including teaching IGCSE, O Level and GCSE students through both online and in-person settings. I have experience working with students of different age groups and academic levels, and I focus on making Biology simple, engaging and easy to understand. My teaching approach is student-centred and tailored to each learner’s individual needs, whether they need help building strong fundamentals, improving exam technique, solving past papers, or preparing for upcoming examinations. I believe in explaining concepts clearly, using real-life examples and encouraging students to ask questions rather than simply memorising information. I have taught Biology at Encore Star Academy and have also provided online tutoring to GCSE and IGCSE students. I am particularly comfortable with Cambridge-style curricula and understand the importance of developing both conceptual understanding and exam-oriented skills. As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel confident, motivated and comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades, but also to develop their confidence and genuine interest in Biology.
